Hirisa

Born in Italy, Hiry comes from a dance background. She studied ballet from the age of 5, and after gaining her high school diploma she moved to the north of Italy to continue her dance study that lead her to graduate at the I.D.A. professional school as a professional dancer; subsequently specialising in teaching. For almost 10 years she worked as a professional dancer, participating in numerous shows in theaters and amusement parks in Italy and subsequently she dedicated herself to teaching modern and contemporary dance.

In 2014 Hiry discovered the Pilates, and after obtaining a Pilates diploma, she started her teaching career in Italy.

She moved to the UK in 2016 and resumed her career as Pilates teacher, and worked in several gyms including Pure Gym and Virgin Active, teaching Fitness Barre, Piloxing and Zumba. Living in the UK has ensured that she deepens her knowledge by studying the Stott Pilates method, the contemporary approach to the original works of Pilates.

In her classes you will find a combination of mind-body movements and exercises to develop body awareness, strength and flexibility. An emphasis on breathing and core strength ensure improved posture, reduced stress and risk of injury. The method also helps rehabilitate injuries and rheumatic pain, thus always offering the best for the well-being of her clients.
